You need to be an asylum seeker or a refugee, 18+ yrs, living in London, Greater Manchester or Tyneside.
You need to speak reasonable English and have a mobile phone.
Normally you will need to be referred, but some refugees can apply direct. Please click on the boxes below:
What's it like to find a friend with HostNation?
It's a great way to find out about life here in the UK, to practise your English and to explore new places.
We will introduce you to each other. You then meet face to face for outings to places like local cafes, parks, markets or museums.
You both start with a promise to meet regularly for three months. We will check in regularly to see how it is going. Many of our friendships go so well that they continue for years.
